Where is the downloaded file located in bitlord

The installation will continue. The design of the interface of BitLord is full-on with plenty to see, though confusing at first if you have not used a torrent client before. The interface offers a search bar along the top and a search bar on the left-hand side, with torrents and playlists showing in the left-hand column.

If you want to search for a particular torrent, do so in the left-hand search box see screenshot below , as this reveals torrents available for download. It lacks the option for searching for torrents in the interface and does not provide a list of the most popular torrents.

In the left-hand column are options showing torrents you have in the program. In the top half of the interface, there is a button suggesting visiting BitTorrent Now to get torrents. However, on clicking it, a web page opens. Both are similar, although uTorrent is the winner here for better-paid options. This is something to bear in mind, as many service providers do not allow torrent or illegal file downloading.

When downloading files through any torrent, client safety may be a problem due to malware or viruses in the downloaded files. Therefore suitable anti-malware and virus software are essential. The app has received mixed reviews and issues. One of the biggest issues users reported is ads. Another downside some users have reported is the app being slow to download; torrents only reach around 1kb despite the fact there are countless seeds available.

However, this is not something we came across during our comparison. Users have reported that to enjoy faster speed, the pro version is required. Again this was not an issue when we were downloading a test file.

While everyone wants the transfer to finish fast, there is no known way to reach this goal. Occasionally files are re-downloaded that have already been downloaded, and the software often crashes when left overnight to download. We cannot prove or disprove this. Due to the sheer number of ratings and reviews, uTorrent wins hands down.

First, we tested the download speed in BitLord before doing the same in uTorrent. We downloaded the same torrent file, MB in size, in both clients with a broadband connection, with the speed test results below. The average download speed was In uTorrent, the file was also downloaded with good speed, although it did take longer than in BitLord at around 34 seconds.

The average download speed was 4. There was not much variation in the download speeds with BitLord, unlike uTorrent, which started high then towards the middle kept dropping down until it reached around 1. We have taken all of the above into consideration and decided that we give the win to BitLord. So contact us if you want to help in any way.

If you do want to keep your current torrents then delete everything except for the state folder. Where does BitLord store the. In a directory named state located within the BitLord config directory outlined above.

BitTorrent Basics The files tab shows a different percentage-completed than the torrent The files tab will only show percentages based on completed pieces while the main view will show total completed including incomplete pieces. What do all those numbers in parentheses mean? Field Seeders Number of connected seeders Total number of seeders Peers Number of connected peers Total number of peers Downloaded Total amount downloaded Total amount downloaded this session Uploaded Total amount uploaded Total amount uploaded this session Seeding torrents have no queue position!

The seed rank is determined by the number of seed cycles a torrent has completed. Torrents with fewer completed seed cycles are prioritized for seeding. Because if there were, I could still go to search and type in the name of the files and they'd pop up. But you have absolutely no jobs loaded? You are not going to find anything using the uTorrent GUI.

C: Following this train of thought to it's ultimate destination Have you looked in the "Recycle Bin" for your downloads?? A Yeah, I see what you mean now, but anyway all I did when I removed the jobs was what I've been doing from years. I'd right click and choose Remove. Move to trash if possible. When I first downloaded the torrents, the directory location wasn't set to where I wanted it to be. It changes frequently on it's own, not sure how.

This is a common issue I've had with uTorrent before, but it never prevented me from actually locating the torrents. When I right click and then choose open containing folder, it just brings me to My Documents and there's absolutely nothing there other than what I always keep there which is only about 4 folders..

And before you or anyone else mentions it, I've checked My Documents and there are NO hidden files or folders. But, last night, I still have one of the torrents same save directory and everything still seeding on uTorrent, and I clicked under files and played one of the MP3s that was contained in the torrent and it began playing through iTunes.

But when in iTunes, I selected the song and chose "Show in Windows Explorer" and then I was told that it refers to a location that is unavailable.

So I know that the stuff I downloaded exists. I think I've found a solution on where your downloaded files are my friend.. I too suffered like you.. Sticking to the point.. In my case.. If this is also your case, and you've successfully located yours.. Your welcome.. Glad I could help. Hi, I'm suffering from the same issue as you guys.
